Kundalini Yoga, is a powerful ancient Indian practice designed to awaken higher levels of consciousness, build self-mastery and harmonise mind, body and spirit.
The term “Kundalini” comes from the Sanskrit word “kundal”, which means circular, and also refers to a coiled snake. Kundalini energy is like that coiled snake – it sits at the base of your spine, sleeping and unaroused.
Kundalini Yoga is practiced to activate this energy or “prana”, which allows it to move up and through the energy centres, known as “chakras”, along your spine to free up physical and emotional blocks in the body.

What is included in a Kundalini Yoga lesson?
In Kundalini Yoga a lesson or “kriya” is a series of postures, breath work or “Pranayana”, and sound that work toward a specific outcome. Practicing a kriya initiates a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit simultaneously.
You do not need to be super fit or flexible, you can be a complete beginner, or have been practicing yoga all your life. Students simply require a willingness to learn how to respond honestly and authentically to their experience.

She has completed Kundalini Yoga Teachers Training Level 1 and Level 2 with Amrit Nam Sarovar – the International Kundalini Yoga School in London and France.

Practising Kundalini helps us to let go, and to live without attachment; becoming one with the universe and allowing us to feel a connection with higher realms. It is here we learn to trust ourselves more deeply and to recognise that our pure essence is at one with divinity. We learn more about ‘being’ as we release ourselves from the constant ‘doing’ state. We begin to love and appreciate ourselves more – which gives us a greater sense of inner confidence and from this place we become more giving and loving towards others as well as ourselves.
