About Alchemy of Acupuncture

Your Pathway to Good Health

Alchemy of Acupuncture offers a natural and holistic approach to medicine that promotes balance and wellness through healthy alternatives to conventional treatment.
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are safe, effective and drug-free options for many conditions.

The treatment is always in alignment with whatever treatment patient is currently working with. Implementing Acupuncture is not about neglecting or rejecting Western Medicine. It is about collaboration and going above and beyond conventional treatments. For that purpose, alongside with Acupuncture, we offer:

  • Cupping therapy
  • Gua sha
  • Moxibustion
  • Healthy lifestyle and exercise advice.

Each acupuncture session is an hour-long. Sterilized disposable hair-fine needles are gently inserted into the skin to stimulate certain points along the major energy channels of the body.

Alchemy of Acupuncture strongly feels it is our responsibility as healthcare practitioners to encourage and to educate our patients to take care of their own health. Let the change begin with Alchemy of Acupuncture.

About Emilia

I am a BAcC-licensed acupuncturist with a BA and a BSc (Hons) in Nursing. My journey into the healing arts has always felt intuitive, shaped by a lifelong calling toward healthcare. As a deeply empathetic and sensitive person, I was drawn to nursing, where I spent over a decade working with critically ill and cancer patients—first as an Intensive Care Nurse, and later as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Acupuncture Clinic at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
My path into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began through my own experience of healing. After encountering the limitations of Western medicine in addressing both my physical and emotional health, I discovered Chinese medicine almost by chance. A profoundly transformative acupuncture session not only improved my wellbeing but also reshaped my understanding of what medicine could be, inspiring me to pursue formal study in TCM.
I trained at The City College of Acupuncture in London and later completed a Classical Acupuncture Apprenticeship under the guidance of Philip Weeks, Darren Rose, and Dr. Hung Tran, whose work is deeply influenced by the teachings of Master Jeffrey Yuen. This training deepened my appreciation for the principles of classical acupuncture, which focus on treating the root cause of imbalance rather than simply alleviating symptoms. It is an approach that sees health as a dynamic harmony between the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person.
This holistic philosophy lies at the heart of my practice. I integrate ancient wisdom with modern medical knowledge, recognising that health is closely connected to the rhythms of life, nutrition, creativity, and self-cultivation. By working in this way, I aim to meet each individual exactly where they are, supporting healing on every level.
My work is grounded in the belief that true healing comes from restoring balance within the whole person. I am committed to offering a thoughtful, comprehensive approach that honours both traditional practices and contemporary understanding.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network adhering to their standards of safe and professional practice.
Above all, my approach is deeply personal. I value the relationships I build with my clients and see each interaction as an opportunity to support their journey toward balance and well-being—whether through acupuncture or by providing a compassionate, attentive presence. I am passionate about empowering individuals to take an active and informed role in their own health and healing journey.
