I am a BAcC Licensed Acupuncturist, with a BA and BSc Hons in Nursing, and I am also a qualified Kundalini Yoga Teacher. My path into the healing arts has always felt natural, as I’ve been drawn to healthcare from a young age. As a sensitive young woman with immense empathy for others, I chose to become a nurse. Over the course of 16 years, I have worked with critically ill and cancer patients within the NHS, initially as an Intensive Care Nurse and more recently as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Acupuncture Clinic at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began through my own personal healing. After discovering the limitations of Western medicine in addressing both, my physical and emotional health, I was drawn to Chinese medicine by chance. A transformative acupuncture session not only improved my health but also fundamentally shifted my perspective on medicine, prompting me to study TCM.
I graduated from The City College of Acupuncture, and a few years later, I completed my Classical Acupuncture apprenticeship under the guidance of Philip Weeks, Darren Rose, and Dr. Hung Tran. This experience deepened my understanding of classical acupuncture philosophy, which emphasizes treating the root cause of imbalances rather than merely addressing symptoms. Classical acupuncture views health as a harmonious balance between the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of a person. This holistic approach is central to my practice, and I integrate it with the understanding that health is deeply connected to the cycles of life, art, nutrition, and self-cultivation. It is through this broader lens that I am able to meet each person exactly where they are, addressing their unique needs and promoting healing on every level.
I focus on treating the whole person and my practice is grounded in the belief that true healing involves restoring balance on every level. I am committed to integrating ancient wisdom with modern medical understanding, offering a comprehensive and effective approach to healing.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), adhering to their code of safe practice, and I am also part of the Acupuncture Fertility Network.
My approach to healing is deeply personal, and I cherish the relationships I build with my patients. I see every interaction as an opportunity to help them restore balance and achieve optimal health, whether through acupuncture, yoga, or simply being a supportive presence. I am passionate about empowering people to take control of their health and well-being.
